Ok, I’m going to keep it real! I wrote a few weeks ago about getting my butt in shape, going to the gym, making better food decisions, etc. I haven’t been back to the gym since that day. How embarrassing! 🙂 I had the best intentions and have come to realize I am the queen of excuses. It was really cold a day or two, it was raining one day, I was up with Liam once in the night one time, and the excuses pile up. I realized when I woke up to my alarm at 5:45 this morning and rolled right on over to go back to sleep, the gym didn’t even cross my mind! So that great drive I had a few weeks ago has completely gone away. That sucks! So tomorrow when my alarm goes off at 5:45 in the morning, no excuse will be strong enough to keep me from slipping on my running shoes and hitting the road! Hopefully. I have done pretty well eating though. My initial goal was 2 pounds a week for 17 weeks, I lost 3 pounds the first week and 1 pound the second week so I feel like I was still on the right track. The third week I didn’t gain or lose so I have two pounds to make up somewhere. On a good note, losing only 4 pounds I already fit into jeans I haven’t worn in years. Not size 6 or anything, just smaller.
This past weekend Jenny and I were really hit with the realization that this little business venture of ours is really taking off! More so than I think we were prepared for! We have had a great reception and had many avenues open up for us in just a month. We were busy all weekend taking orders and giving price quotes on furniture and taking pictures, busy, busy, busy. I mean I have mixing bowls and cake pans piled in my kitchen sink and I’m not sure if I have any clean bottles for the twins to have milk this afternoon but we are loving every second of it! We can’t wait to share all of our new products, services, and promotions soon to come! This is one of the many Easter mini sessions we had this weekend, cutie little guys!
